The Alexandria Medical Center Expansion adds critical capacity to an existing regional hospital campus through a new surgical wing, advanced diagnostic imaging suite, and thoughtfully planned recovery wards. The layout separates staff, patient, and public circulation while bringing daylight into clinical corridors and waiting areas.
Programming and concept design established departmental adjacencies, infection-control zoning, and future expansion zones to support long-term campus growth. The approach balances clinical efficiency with a calmer, more human-centered patient experience.
Designed for Mediterranean Health Group, the expansion strengthens regional healthcare delivery without compromising the operational continuity of the existing facility.
